J!m 289 Posted August 2, 2018 So, as the title says: what does a quality re-lume job go for these days? I seem to recall a member (maybe not here) KeNnY I think, rather famous for his work. Maybe someone else... Anyway, should I expect to pay $20, $50, $100 for an OEM quality re-lume job? Since I generally work on vintage stuff, it doesn't need to glow, or even be present in some cases... Thanks!
Lagger 160 Posted August 2, 2018 Kenny WAS about €90 (euros) buy he is out the game now, I think you will have to look on RWI I don't know anyone on here who does them now

J!m 289 Posted August 2, 2018 Damn! a hundred GBP?!? That's serious money (but since I remember him, I'm sure he's earning every bit of that). Good to know. And it sounds as if he's still at it too? My newly acquired 116600 is not up to "gen standards" in the lume department. Although it need a bunch of other money thrown at it, I wanted to have an idea what I was in for. Lagger 160 Posted August 2, 2018 I'm sure there is a guy in the states doing it still, but he's over on RWI........possibly Katt but not sure

Logixa 8 Posted August 2, 2018 Ah I see. If you have the time and are willing to, you can contact rctritec and buy a super luminova set from them, takes a lot of practice but in the end it's really cool
J!m 289 Posted August 2, 2018 I don't foresee doing enough to justify it, but I'll keep it in mind...
