edwelly 0 Posted April 28, 2011 Ok, so I admit it. Akira was right. The Chopard Mille Migila is too big for a daily wearer. It is 44mm x 52mm x 14mm and I just can’t really pull it off with short sleeves. I think it looks fine when I wear a sweater or jacket, but not with short sleeves. My wrists are just too tiny. What I found with the Chopard is that it is large and heavy. Working on a computer all day, it just seemed to weigh a ton after a few hours. I found myself taking off my watch every couple hours for about 10-15 mins. So I am on the hunt for a two new watches. The good news my taste has changed some. Requirements: - Nothing bigger than 44mm, preferably 40-42mm - Light weight – cannot stress this enough - black face and white face - Wears well with brown and black leather strap - I do not care about working chrono’s or calendars. If there are on the watch, great, but they don’t have to work. THE SIMPLER THE BETTER - Looking to spend as little as possible at this time - no quartz. I am in love with winding… :nomorepostwhore: Here is what I have now and I LOVE the look of these watches but wish they were in a 41mm size. I would like to stay with a similar look. Thanks everyone! - Erik

edwelly 0 Posted April 28, 2011 How about a Rolex Explorer 1 or 2 I can't pull off a Rolex. I am a network admin and my pay grade is not in the Rolex category. Which is one reason I loved the Chopard. No one new anything about them.

edwelly 0 Posted April 29, 2011 I am a network admin and my pay grade is not in the Rolex category. So now you're considering Breguet :( Yeah. I do not know of anybody who really knows what a Brequet is. There is only a couple people who are watch nuts here at my work and they loved my Chopards and PAM 196. But everyone would recognize a Rolex. BTW, check your PM please :P
