DSSDRep 0 Posted June 11, 2012 I own a gen Sub and a rep DSSD. To be honest, I like my DSSD better. I mean, sure, because I know the Sub is gen I "like" it more and it "feels" better, but if I didn't know one was rep or one was gen, I would look at you and tell you I prefer my rep DSSD over my gen Sub. 40mm simply isn't big enough for me and that always bothered me about Sub's. Jorge-(WhoreHay) 261 Posted June 11, 2012 Sub - classic European sports car DSSD - An American SUV. A Hummer for example. You chose Well stated... However, I'd say: DSSD is for macho men, SUB for girly men (to quote a former governor from California)
Malakei 0 Posted June 12, 2012 Easily DSSD for a bigger wrist IMO. but the retro looking subs are hawt
1littlegreen 1 Posted September 10, 2012 Sub all the way. Great everyday and well balanced. I PREFER the SD classic. Just doesn't seem to strike a chord. Maybe that's a good thing Kev
nisog 0 Posted September 10, 2012 DSSD Army! It's only for 7 inch wrists and higher

Frankt8242 1 Posted September 11, 2012 Is the DSSD available without that silly printing around the rehaut...????....If so, I might consider one, but I "got over" the Sub thingy @ 5 years ago.... '
sardonix 1 Posted September 11, 2012 DSSD is nice, classis 16610 116610 and modern sub also nice. Like my vintage subs best MBW 1680 and (gen)Tudor Snowflake.
oscarmadfish 0 Posted September 11, 2012 if the silly printing is not on then it is not a DSSD
PAB 0 Posted September 11, 2012 I own both. the sub for daily wear and the dssd for the weekends Think I'm headed this way. Love my DSSD to bits but a damn good Sub for weekdays makes sense
Richyrich 0 Posted September 11, 2012 I'm lucky to have owned both but must agree that the sub is better as a daily watch. The DSSD is great for posing with down the pub but I couldn't wear it all the time
kimchi 0 Posted January 31, 2013 the DSSD has legendary presence!!!

greg_r 81 Posted January 31, 2013 Poll deleted to prevent bumping of this two year-old thread! DSSD won 165 votes to 137. Of course, the voters were wrong, but what's new about that?
seclark007 11 Posted January 31, 2013 Quite suprised that this was still being actioned......nearly forgot I posted it in the first place
DreambreaX 0 Posted January 31, 2013 Sub is better. I have DSSD before, and i sell it. Its good but when you wear it its to heavy and it always hit something. I use GMT and enjoy it. GMT is 40mm like sub.
Mark9117 0 Posted January 31, 2013 The DSSD is not a watch to be worn capriciously. It's a chunk. For me it wears like my PAM's, and I like it.
LondonBB 0 Posted January 31, 2013 The DSSD is the best. I've had mine now for a year and still like it as much as I did when I first got it. Its not to big, nor to heavy and I don't hit things with it either. Had a sub, GMTIIc and Sea Dweller too but sold them all on as after the Deep Sea they are just weedy and lack presence.
