blueoysterboy 17 Posted October 15, 2018 So I have this lovely Orient panda chronograph. I really like this watch, wears nicely on the wrist, keeps great time, etc. Two things I am less enamored with : 1) super small date window; 2) low contrast hands. I can live with the date window although the numbers are so small I can't really read them without some effort. The low contrast of the hands makes it a bit difficult to tell the time with just a quick glance, I often have to rotate my wrist to get the angle right to read the hands. I am curious as to what type of hand mod can be done. As per the attached pix, the hands are chrome, there is a lume spot at the tips (although not very wide) and you will see that the hands have central cut outs. Lux suggested painting/re-lume.
