edwelly 0 Posted May 2, 2011 Hello all. I am currently looking at this watch and was hoping some of the more experienced members could give me some advice: http://silix-prime.com/omes085-p-1713.html Thanks - Erik
Ska 11 Posted May 2, 2011 Nice looking watch. Although Silix have mislabelled it. The model there is actually a Seamaster Planet Ocean 42mm. That version is widely regarded as being pretty damn good! Silix have also been going from strength to strength recently. My only advice would be to enquire with a few other dealers about this watch. Email Watchinternational and Marvellous Replica with a link to the Silix page and see how their pricing stacks up. I think you might be able to find it a little cheaper. But you can't go wrong with that watch. Gorgeous.
Scavolas 0 Posted May 3, 2011 This is supposedly the "Ultimate" version of the 42 mm Seamaster PO with nickel-plated Swiss ETA 2824-2. Wonder whether only a single factory produces it though, because the model in silix-prime presentation pictures has a weird-looking '12' numeral on the dial, the number 1 seems to be a tad longer than the height of the 2 on its side. Could be just due to some funny distorsion caused by the crystal. If you check the appearantly same model at replicamake, you cannot see this on the 12: OMG11003 at Replicamake Oh and by the way, Lay has it for 248.00 at the moment... edwelly 0 Posted May 3, 2011 What about this watch from Mary? Thoughts/comments? OMEGA SEAMASTER 300M ETA 2824-2 http://www.watch-international.com/index.p...products_id=970 Thanks - Erik
edwelly 0 Posted May 3, 2011 In case anyone is wondering, I really want a NICE Omega Seamaster with a blue dial. thus all of the posts about Omega for the past week. Sorry...
Ska 11 Posted May 3, 2011 Dude if you want a blue dial you need the seamaster professional diver or the standard 300m. The Planet ocean only has a black dial. The diver is the most accurate rep of the two by far. I bought the black version from Mary a few weeks ago and posted a comparison with the genuine which you can find here: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...ster+comparison It's so good I have also just bought the blue version. If you're after a seamaster with a blue bezel there's nothing like it
