Stormspeed 0 Posted May 9, 2011 Hello guys.......Ok been reading a few different forums and checking out lots of different watches. I have to say I am in love with Panerai. Wanted to ask what the general consensus was on where to buy my first rep. Checked out replicamade and timesshop. Both have nice inventory but replicamade seems to have cheaper prices. Does the cheaper prices=cheaper made on replicamade? Hesitant to shell out $278 on my first purchase but am willing if the product is worth it. I really like this model Regatta. The cost is due to the 7750 movement, I hear it's temperamental but more accurate to the genuine. It's truly a sight to behold. I even managed to attach SS bracelet to both, looks much better now. Dan, your Regatta is Rattrapante model, with faux split seconds, so, pusher on 7 o'clock doesn't work. But dial is beautiful. The problem is that if you try to break the addiction, even the Rolex twelve step program can't help. I'm afraid Nisv is right. There is no cure for the PAM bug/addiction.
