KeNnY 29 Posted May 15, 2011 Hi All, so I finally today finished 2 DSSDs.. One of them was total train-rack, and I think i was first one who have made transformation from DSSD V1 to V3 and also SUPER LUME it :P I had an request, had spare parts, lume, time, so made it possible. The V1 was modded by one modder, the lume is weak and I think it is deep blue from W@tchlume. Don't know if he also paint the markers the bottom layer with white paint, but it is REALLY HARD to put that white paint off !!! Not even 24 hours of soaking it into acetone helped. I had to scratch it off. From the V1 was used movement, dial, some markers, stem. The Case is totally different, even the lug size, so not possible to use the bracelet, only the claps, also the crown is smaller. Also the dial has got bigger diameter, so I had to trim / brush it, to lower its diameter.. Finally the dial fit So here you can see how big diameter is the dial Here you can see after my modding of the diameter of the dial Also the Triangle and square hour markers were smaller size, so had to replace them also. Also I had to replace the datewheel layer for different one.. The font was WAY off... I have spare nonfunctional asian 21J movement from my DSSD so I have used that one. KeNnY 29 Posted May 16, 2011 Flatfour - Wouter thank you soon it will be on your wrist ! Mike exposure is max 0,3 sec (standard setting with no flash).. I am not possible to put more on my camera.. But I think then, the lume would burn the lens if set to 1 sec Thank you PGL :P you have to believe in your self that you know what are you doing, then the hands will stop shake lol...
