colin 0 Posted May 23, 2011 Help needed Please, I have a ceramic sub Asian high beat from Timeshops offer... its stripped the crown tube threads ( was always iffy but not bad enough to send back ) Mark has told me no longer in Warranty ( anyone ever know how long these are ? ) LOL So i asked if he could supply the parts new crown tube and crown he informs me no they don't supply parts and i will have to send back and pay post each way plus repair costs. ( prob cost more than new watch ) So guys... can anyone tell me the size tube needed so i can have a go myself.... i love this watch. Thanks Colin.
Del 4,499 Posted May 23, 2011 That's a bummer mate. When did you buy the watch? TS state a 6 month warranty. Sorry, can't help you with the tube size though.

If a little slack will fix in with glue Hope the old crown fits . Bit poor of Mark to not be able to source parts for a newish watch.... did say to him would pay for parts and post. KBH 7 Posted May 23, 2011 BK has had very nice crown and tube sets available in the past. You can try him if Cousins doesn't work for you.
colin 0 Posted May 24, 2011 Well lads..... Tube *F* is not the right one center hole too small to take the crown.
Wiz 0 Posted May 24, 2011 How much did you originally pay for the watch? If less than $100, your best bet might be to tear the watch down, try to get a few bucks out of the good parts, and then buy a new one.
prestigewatchco 2 Posted May 24, 2011 Best way is to buy a matched crown and tube
colin 0 Posted June 7, 2011 Update Lads, All fixed.. got another crown tube from cousins .. one for Daytona it said .... so counter sunk hole, glued in new tube with Araldite metal glue, Original crown fits on fine. Still bad Timeshop wont supply parts for a newish watch bought from them.....
