Really struggling to find a UK-based service to replace the crystal on by noob sub (I have emailed the forum recommendations, but to no reply). Does anyone know of a service that could help? Cheers.

I did my own on a gen. Just ordered a Crystal press from Amazon for about £11. The hard part is finding the correct replacement crystal.

And I'm considered pretty inept, when it comes to watch repairs!

Inspired by you, I also did it myself.

Really quite easy, even if I probably fucked the waterproofing.

Great job! The only bit that always scares me is re-inserting the stem. I don't have a good track record on that front!
