Breitling Chronomat B01......quartz!

Recommended Posts

Del

So, surprise surprise, I bought another Breitling recently!

I know, I know, I need help and all that but it was an offer I couldn't refuse - one of Robert's high quality quartz Chronomat B01s from grb, that great secondhand rep dealer! :D I say "secondhand" but this Chronomat is essentially brand new, and only cost me $90 delivered.:thepianohasbeendrinking:

Ok, so it isn't the most accurate Breitling rep I've got, but that shouldn't (and doesn't) detract from what is a stunning watch. When wearing it yesterday, it continually caught my eye with it's polished s/s case and polished stick hour markers. Even the subdials with their "half-in-half" textures are a joy to behold!

As you will see below, the watch came on a black leather strap rather than the polished s/s bracelet and that suited me perfectly too as I'm not a big fan of a fully polished s/s bracelet, and it suits the watch too imho.

All in all, this is a superb watch and I'm already looking forward to wearing it again soon! And now to the pics....;)

That looks great....looks like the same case etc as the 7750 version

Thanks everyone! :thepianohasbeendrinking:

Just in case I didn't get it across the first time, I am blown away with how nice this watch is! :D

If you like Breitlings, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this from Robert.

@ Kenny - small running (ticking) seconds at 6. The large second hand is the chrono only.

Oh Del... now i have to add another watch to my wish list

Since my Hublot & AP quartz I am a big fan of the opting for quartz when it comes to a chrono watch!

This is a prime example of a winning watch!!!

Stunning wristie shots too!

Thanks GC

Yes, the wristie shot is my favourite too - I took about 20 wrist shots before getting the right lighting and without having my ugly mug reflected in the crystal! This watch was a bit of a bugger to photograph actually, plus I took the desk shots rather quickly but I think they just about work.

Looks great Del!

Is this the sales thread from Robert for this version? Looks the same, but hard to tell from the pics of the black dial. I think Robert will be getting a few more orders for these.
