Have you ever had a look at Bremont ? The alt-c is a beauty. Best of Luck to you.

I've said to you in person Del I'd never pay the cash for a gen Pam especially as the gens are so good. The lugs on the radiomir are a pain. Having said that I'm not keen on the Breitling. Have you ever had a look at Bremont ? The alt-c is a beauty. Best of Luck to you.

Thanks mate. We can discuss on Saturday! ;)

It was mainly you that got shouted at!

Yet another flagrant example of the obscene anti gingerism that exists on this site. And by a pasty skinned Jock too!!!!!!

It’s a MF HEURER, it’s beautiful, it’s a heritage piece with amazing background.

It’s turned your head and got you thinking!!!

Er, No . . .

I was carefully avoiding "how about this watch?" but the square chrono is a beauty.

See me still not going down the "what about this watch" road.

Ha ha! There is a lot of choice out there and I still have a strong desire for a Panerai. The Monaco has actually always been in the background but I didn’t want to complicate the thread at the start! I suspect the thread will go tits-up now though.... :D

The fact is, you can't go wrong with any of them. It only took 20 years of criticism but Panerai has really upped their game with pricing and movements.

Big fan of the Monaco. Have had the rep for a while and still annoyed that you cant get a good one. It was a toss up when I bought my gen 16610 back in the late 90s and the Monaco. Tag had just reissued the Steve McQueen model.  I keep looking at the gen because i always enjoy wearing the rep.

Ohhhh that is a game changer!

This rolls everything into one for me as I am a big Steve McQueen fan, and you know my love of Porsches and motor racing, thus LeMans is a favourite of mine featuring all of the aforementioned along with McQueen wearing the original Monaco. I even have a rep Monaco myself, but that said there is something about the PAM that still calls to me.

This is now a tough decision.

Out of the Breitling and the PAM, I’d go for the PAM (mainly because of the Rolex connection...). And then the TAG, and then not the Breitling.

The only Breitling I like is the SuperOcean Abyss 44, mainly because of it’s silly 60s Apollo bezel font. And I’m getting the Noob version of it on Wednesday via some hot watch-swap action so I'm all excited.

You have great watches Del, if it were my choice it would have to be the Pam, for me it would add another dimension.

Thanks. I can’t help feel that I’ll want the PAM again if I buy something else...
