nickee_2dS 0 Posted May 27, 2011 (edited) I hate black strap...so what do you suggest for an all black Radiomir Black Seal? I've this strap at home, what do you think about the match? Edited May 27, 2011 by nickee
Luthier 1 Posted May 27, 2011 Black is too black, brown one is too ugly. One of these would fit perfectly: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...showtopic=15107 Particularly this one:
Ska 11 Posted May 27, 2011 Interesting - never seen that dial before. Personally I don't think the 292 works on the thicker straps. Did you make that strap yourself?

Oh no, it's an old strap bought somewhere in internet few months ago. You think that 292 need a thin strap? Oh sure they are wonderful but my doubt is: a brown strap is good for a black watch? And a rubber strap? Edited May 27, 2011 by nickee
Ska 11 Posted May 27, 2011 Rubber strap on a radiomir is Wrong for just about every reason. Brown strap with the 292 looks good actually. I hope you didn't pay too much for that strap bro. Good effort if it was your first attempt to make one yourself or something but there's no way in hell I'd pay money for finishing like that.
SB56667 155 Posted May 27, 2011 Just got this for my 183, and I think either would look just as good on a black case: I agree with Ska that the really thick, raw-cut straps may not be right for the Black Seal case, but the second of the two straps here is a pretty hefty 26/26mm, and I think it works quite well:
myaz 3 Posted May 28, 2011 What works so well with Ska's suggestion is the black stiching. It helps to coordinate the color of whatever strap you end up with.
wat44 0 Posted May 28, 2011 I agree with Ska I actually like the thin standard black rep band...

Baldrick 1 Posted May 28, 2011 Radiomirs are 'dress' watches, they're not entirely suited to thick straps, a brown contrasting style of strap looks better on a PVD case, this is not a high quality strap but it looks better than standard straps.
Scavolas 0 Posted May 28, 2011 Baldrick, could you please inform us about the whereabouts of this nice-looking leather band on your pictures? Radiomirs are 'dress' watches, they're not entirely suited to thick straps, a brown contrasting style of strap looks better on a PVD case, this is not a high quality strap but it looks better than standard straps. Del 4,528 Posted May 28, 2011 I like this watch with a light brown strap and black stitching to tie in with the black case - Ska's photo below is a perfect example.
