mark8111 0 Posted June 1, 2011 Hi guys a friend of mine just picked up a Franck Muller watch from a charity shop paid £3.99, he checked them online and thinks he's got a watch worth quite a few pounds.. I told him its probably a fake but he has no idea about the replica world and doesn't think such a fake could exist.. I'm sure its a fake but if anyone cares give a second opinion i'd be greatfull.. sorry bout the pic quality, taken with iPhone Cheers Mark
greg_r 83 Posted June 1, 2011 Yup - it's a rep (albeit a nice one) running a modified 21J movement. They sell for $100 or a little over if I recall. For £3.99 he did pretty well, assuming that it works, of course!

opus9 0 Posted June 1, 2011 All I know is that the camera you took these pictures with is worth putting in a charity shop...I have not seen a disk camera used for years.. no harm meant, good luck explaining how the money he has already spent may need to be repaid. regards opus9
