Eiderdaus 0 Posted June 4, 2011 Hi here a little comp, maybe from interest for some of you that are hunting the best 16610 rebuild. Sean case looks quite good, the crown is not "kissing" the bezel", pictures taken from chiman genuine 16610 looks really good :P wm9 v3 lv the crown is too low, the crown is kissing the bezel PT supreme, wm9 v1 crown position is too low Tw Best crown position is too low sorry, got no noob handy atm, they are all at uwe for some work
KBH 7 Posted June 4, 2011 My WM9 v3 looks more like Sean's than the WM9 you are picturing. In fact, it looks nothing like your WM9 LV. BTW, who is Sean? Original Noob's tight to the case.
chiman456 0 Posted June 4, 2011 (edited) The one of the fatal flaws of the WM9 V3 were that the tube recess was machined too deep and this is what bothered me. KBH...if yours is fine then either the crown tube is not screwed in all the way or you got lucky. And yes...BK and I had lengthy discussions on this issue and about the Sean (etaswiss.net) cases as he thought they were WM9 V3 cases also. It would be nice to see a side profile shot just like E's just for comparison sake. Was there maybe two runs of the V3 cases, the first being better than the second???? andygt 0 Posted June 4, 2011 Could it be a v2 case? http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/111535-bk-v3...sub-has-landed/

KBH 7 Posted June 4, 2011 Screwed all the way down. I think it's a different crown maybe. It's slightly rounded on the inside. Nope, after looking again it's the tube sticking out where it's supposed to be.

40232 0 Posted August 5, 2011 Do you know if the Sean case will take Gen Parts? How are you going to build it up?
Eiderdaus 0 Posted August 12, 2011 sean case is only made to take gen parts, rep dials have the wrong diameter so they don´t fit
