TICINO Big Pilot second hand mod

Hi all,

 

I have made an mod to this TICINO BIG PILOT second hand. Owner said that he want to have it nice white, because the blue one is not that visible. So here are pictures and video , HAVE FUN !

nice ..... Curious ... if i were to spray my hands in raw brass . .would i need a base coat ? Is acrylic suffice ? thx

thank you, also thank you Mike.

 

level z - I am using sprays that are universal, for wood, glass, metal you name it. What I did I just remove the old blue paint paint from it, and spray it. I cleaned the surface with acetone. Spray is great option because you can regulate the amount of the pair being put on the hands.

Ok Kenny ... thx for your quick reply .. i guess dont need base coat as it is inside the watch and chances of the paint not adhering is pretty slim ... love the white hands .. makes the watch look so much nicer IMO ...

Fantastic work Kenny - that just looks beautiful!!!!!

 

Level z - no need to base-coat but the best finish and adhesion is attained if you lightly brush the surface to be painted with scotch-brite.

i swear, i want this watch, superlumed with the blue hands, and a RED SECOND HAND.
