GenTLe 1,510 Posted June 16, 2020 Hi guys, a colleague showed me a damage to the wife's gen Omega quartz Seamaster professional made by their son: and asked me for help. Probably the "you that tinker with watches..." is the new "you that understand computers..." Anyway, for sure there are at least 2 or 3 friction pressure pins/rivets to be replaced and maybe I will need to replace the broken clasp parts with rep parts (he doesn't want to spend 200+Eur for a new clasp...). I will be able to compare the parts with the clasp of my noob LMPO to see if they fit. Does anyone knows the diameter of these Omega friction tubes? No you're correct: that one is a 40mm case, 20mm bracelet and it's not a quartz is an auto. I got it today. It was from her father, hence the masculine size. It was a fun exercise, and I still like how well wikis work for this sort of heavily-lined content, but as of Sep 2019 I've taken it down. I exported the entire site as HTML and am hosting it for your reference on my server. Most of the content is less relevant, e.g. current vendor lists, but perhaps after being indexed it might sometimes be useful. Interesting find, this is a guy who really likes lists!
