kolchak 17 Posted June 6, 2011 awesome looking piece. wish it were closer to 47 mm and less "thick." Fits you well but it would be a sky scraper on a 7 in wrist....worried I'd knock myself unconcious when I brought dial up to check the time.
opus9 0 Posted June 6, 2011 Thats very very nice...special order..or why one off etc? regards opus9
JohnG 41 Posted June 6, 2011 Okay, okay, this is where it came from: Hybrid of Silix mini ProDiver white dial and Watchinternational black dial 51mm Prodiver. Both are quartz, same movement, dial is ALMOST the same size, the prodiver dial into the mini prodiver case requires a couple of tiny mods, on to dial plate, one to plastic movement holder, other that that it is almost a straight swap. Later I will sell the mini Prodiver, one of these is enough, but I wanted the white dial, but in the big case, HAD TO HAVE IT. And thanks to Mary for new screws - I have lost them from both of the watches, Silix is sending me some too. They both literally fell off my damn wrist, the white dial popped the hour subdail hand, but I fixed that. A couple more pics:
Del 4,532 Posted June 6, 2011 That is a nice watch, and it doubles as a weight-training aid too!
pollux1 3 Posted June 6, 2011 How's the lume on it mate?
greg_r 84 Posted June 6, 2011 Oh that's really nice... Oris should definitely make a white dial version of this....
JohnG 41 Posted June 6, 2011 How's the lume on it mate? Typical rep lume. If you hold it up to a halogen for thirty seconds and then take a shot within five seconds, it looks great. @Greg, I agree, they need a white dial version, I don't know why they are a LITTLE more adventurous, it can't be hard to mock one up on their cad and see the awesomeness.... jameo210369 0 Posted June 6, 2011 wow, she is beautiful JG, I have the black dial and I love her but as both Greg and yourself have stated the white dial is beautiful. Great addition to your collection.

Aren 27 Posted June 7, 2011 This really is a pretty watch. It would be far too large for me, but it is a stunner. I like the white dial. One day, I hope to have the courage to open up a watch. I like to look inside, but I don't know if I would be able to open a case without damage, or even worse, not be able to get it back together again.
