MikeMcNair 0 Posted June 13, 2011 So Palermo (I think that's his SN) came to my house today and had a gen 1570 rolex that was fogged! It was serviced not too long ago so i was eager to find out why. Turns out, the AD put qn o-ring in that was so fucking huge the SELs were actually grabbing it and pulling it OUT every time he wore it. Look closely at how the ADs o-ring goes beyond the caseback.... Here is some of the fog left after opening her up and airing her out..... Correct size gasket.... Now she's all back together and tight as a virgin! More to come!

MikeMcNair 0 Posted June 13, 2011 So much for those master watchsmiths at Rolex Not gonna lie: Bob and I were both shocked at how bad it was. When I say the gasket was so large the SELs actually were pulling it I meant it. In fact, once the caseback was off, I had to move the SELs to get the gasket out!!!!! Bunch of fuckwits they are!!!!! ThinkBachs 1 Posted June 13, 2011 Did you grease that O-ring before re-installing the case back? Great watch by the way, has my favorite Rolex bezel on it...
