GS Hypo or UV cured cement for plexi crystal?

Recommended Posts

Looking for advice...I have to glue a plexi moonwatch crystal in my OMF Speedmaster Professional rep w/ST19. GS Hypo or UV cured cement for plexi crystal? If I get the UV curing adhsive, will a small UV flashlight be sufficient?

Also put the glue on the rehaut "shelf" or the crystal itself?

Looking for advice from those who have been there @NCRich, done that! @GenTLe

UV and I just put it in the sun.  No need for tools unless you live in the UK.

Both are fine, the UV gives you more time (the hypo starts to get dry while you're still applying it). Sun is enough.

Surfaces? It's the same: important is to put enough so that it goes on both surfaces when tied together but not too much to overflow.
