Chanel J12 - How to remove links from the bracelet

Recommended Posts

Fat Five

Got a beautiful Chanel J12 from Mary for the wife but two links have to be removed from the bracelet.

Has anyone done this? Neither myself or my watch repair guy can figure out how to remove the links.

Thanks,

get a push pin. a thumb tack.

one side of the pin has a tiny hole in the middle, the other side is just flat.

push the pin into teh side with a tiny hole in the middle. the pin will fall out the other side.

it's like a 2 piece pin, one side is a pin and other side just a donut that grabs onto the end of the pin.

I used a thumb tack and it worked great.

ok i used the word pin a lot. LOL

seriously you have to push something very very tiny into the side of the link pin that has a tiny tiny hole in the middle.

Ditto Ditto - Luths post was most useful. They are very tight though and need a real bash BUT remember Cermic is brittle so take care.
