fiegepils 0 Posted June 22, 2011 Hi there, As a Noob, i would like to introduce myself to your nice community. I´m an architekt from germany, and one of my hobbbies is collecting watches (mostly gen´s and now also replicas). Besides, I like my stereo and homecinema equipment. I´ve got citizens, omegas, rolex and certina, and replicas (ugly HBB, just ordered a new one; ugly Rolex Daytona with "the winner" on the back). I ordered a real nice HBB black and a Submariner (the "old" one I´ve got already as a gen), and today i have the chance (hope so) in your forum to get a nice sea-dweller. Nice people over here, i have to say. I will stay tuned fiegepils

fiegepils 0 Posted June 24, 2011 Hi community, thanks for your warm welcome,´like that. Yes, I will post some photos, but at the moment I´m waiting for four rep´s to be sent (that was really expensive, folks...but my personal bills have been payed, I can afford that:-). Nevertheless, as I think you´re interested in pictures of the reps; so I will try to photograph them (maybe poor, according to my english), but I´ll try after arrival, okay? Thanks fiegepils (aka Christoph, special nickname indeed. Famous Beer not in Germany (I guess, they are famous for that :-)), but eventually in Bochum, where I come from. No whatever reliable to the brewerey, of course. best regards fiegepils
fiegepils 0 Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) Hi mates, as I said, some pics of my watches (hope the pictures will work...). Some are gen, some are not... First, some crappy reps, since I didn´t know RWG when buying (look at the Hublot, it´s too big, no datewheel...). next one is a gen I like, it´s an old citizen navy hawk blue angels: another ctizen, this is a promaster diver´s, this one can measure the depth, when yo´re diving. For the beach... Well, this one I really love: a very early Certina DS Cascadeur with a special Eta Quartz movement. Maybe there are only a few one´s since I can hardly find it on the web. A Rolex Datejust with Quartz M´ment, got this one for about 1/4 of the price, that it´s worth now. I like this specil case combined with the bracelet. I think, there´s no other Rolex with this case. It has gor a chronometer certificate, that´s a laugh because of the quartz movement... a watch for the evening: omega constellation, very early quarz from the eighties an elysee from Düsseldorf/Germany, actually the same miyota-movement as in the "winner24-daytona". I actually don´t know, why I baught that one. Nearly no wristtime at all. My reps: DSSD, baught here from cob, nice price, nice watch, looks and works like hell! HBB and Sub, at the winder: you know them, with the Hublot, I changed the rubber strap because of the "funny smell" (something between vanilla and old motor oil). Like them... Maybe I´m the only one who´s got a chinese gen? Here it is: Next, there will be a AP survivor and a Rolex GMT IIc. Already ordered, hope these arrive soon. Yours Christoph Edited July 20, 2011 by fiegepils
