Luthier 1 Posted June 26, 2011 Recently one of my friends on Forum asked me to buy a rare Rotary watch in US, because this seller do't ship watches abroad. Money were transferred on my PP, and I ordered the watch, that successfully arrived yesterday. And what the beauty it is!!! OK, let's pictures talk. I didn't take all protective plastics off, but I can assure you- the case, the dials, the engravings, the clasp, the turning mechanism - all is just perfectly made, and beautiful. Quartz, $250 on sale, $499.00 regular price. 1000 were made, this one has serial # 0151. Enjoy!!!
prestigewatchco 2 Posted June 26, 2011 Rotary make some great watches that are basically copies of more expensive brands Greg has a lovely one that is for want of a better description a copy Cartier. this watch here is obviously influenced by the JLC reverso but will be so much better quality than the rep
offshore 0 Posted June 26, 2011 Lovely watch, but an absolute prick of a thing to change the batteries in. They have two movements, so tell your friend when a battery is replaced, to have both done at that time. If a normal battery replacement costs say $10.00, a charge of $100 should be made to do these. Luthier 1 Posted June 26, 2011 I hope he'll get it cheaper.
czmilosz 0 Posted June 26, 2011 Very cool! I like that look and the reverso homage.
greg_r 81 Posted June 27, 2011 We gave away the SS version of that watch during our last birthday bash. As OS says, they're a pain to get into when changing the batteries, but a beautiful watch nonetheless - and extremely well-made. I owned an earlier version for many years. edil 28 Posted June 30, 2011 AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's beautifull i can't wait to get it, the white dial looks just awesame. And the strap i thought that it wont look nice and would have to change it to maybe black, but man that looks so sweet.
