just visiting

Another noob fumbling my way around. I stumbled upon this forum while looking for a high quality replica and am loving it. I am now convinced more than ever that I was born to be a watch freak. Thanks to RWG, I have enough material to indulge my geekery on for a long time.

I have been glued to this forum for a week and can't get enough. I was in total geek mode (with the accompanying frown on the face while absorbing information) till I came across allergy doc's addiction thread. That totally cracked me up. Guilty of almost all the symptoms including pretending to watch porn while surfing watch forums and Robert's auction.

Please welcome (read "be prepared to tolerate") me. You will soon be tired of answering my dumb questions and my "OMG I got to get that one" reply to every watch pic that's posted. Please be gentle. Or at least don't hunt me down everytime for sport. Otherwise I will overpay and pick up every watch on the forum...oh wait...I am going to do that anyway.

BTW I know my signon says "just visiting" but I think I am here to stay.

:D

Who let that one out of the bag? You rat out Indian Gods and Goddesses (not to be gender biased), m8 you are asking for trouble. Your next purchase is surely going to arrive DOA. They are “watchâ€ing everything that ticks & moves between Asia & the EU. Well it’s kinda easy for them since they are right in the middle. You rat & the ticking stops. Blame the customs all you want, you aint getting that one back from the mountain.

But now that it’s out, let me fill you in. The G&Gs were into 6497s (they liked the pink stones) but the winding just got to them. The ones with fewer arms were already complaining about worn out nails and fingertips from poor quality cabochons on the crowns and how they were spoiling their naildos and how the nail polish remover splatters were then spotting the SS & PVD bracelets. Not cool. I cannot imagine the G&Gs with a dozen hands or more were significantly happier customers.

So they moved onto 7757 hi beat autos. That 28.8k movt, oooh …they liiiike. And you always wondered why Robert & Mary were so quickly out of stock? Well there are 0.33 Billion recorded G&Gs in Hindu mythology. Times a modest four arms each on average. You do the math. To add to that, it's not like they are on a pussywhipped budget like the rest of us...right? Well even with autos, all the swinging of arms to charge was getting a little “unâ€G&G like. You know arms were getting in the way of one another, the various weapons on different hands were misfiring, scratching bezels, cases, straps. Not cool.

So now they placed a big order on eco-drive Pams. Yes maam, they are Pam999s (as in opposite of Pam666s which were so hot, they were diabolical as hell. You can guess who sunk the order). Special edition 2012, to be delivered right after the world ends. They also looked at Zeniths, but turbine sub-dials freaked them out. Rolled their eyes and said “Them dials move but only Mary knows what they record!!â€. But no one had Mary on their speeddial (different religion, country, complicated for these old timers as you can imagine), so they ordered the Pams. The clincher was that these Pams are truly perpetual. As in it works in this world and beyond. Armageddon or no Armageddon.

But I don’t want to say too much about these things, I don’t want to be on their sh** list m8. I firmly believe that they have so many arms to do many things at the same time. Multidexterous (yep go look that up). All good things, reward the virtuous, get rid of the bad guys, that kind of G&G stuff. Not saying that they don't wear great lume while they are at it, can't hurt. Did I mention the great lume on the Pam666s...well they need it down there.

Warning heeded Greg_r. I heard elsewhere that the trick is to max them out, that way you can’t get into any more trouble. Well then there’s always the wife’s purse. But that’s another thread.

If we ever get into that we can explore the concept of the watchaddicted cub. Step 1. Visit Cougar.net, Step 2: Look for the nice lady whose username is SugaMama4urRolex Step 3…well that’s another thread....

You can also get into webcams as a source of funding as I saw offered a couple of times on RWG (jokingly I hope). But I don’t think that will be a very successful route for an Indian guy, especially in the EU (If you think otherwise, stay away, very far away from me). But that’s another thread as well…..
