NortheasternNerd 25 Posted June 5, 2022 Hey all, New member here. I've been a lurker for 5+ years and used info from this site to buy two reps, an IWC and a Tag. My first foray into the automatic watch world was a Tissot Chemin de Tourelles, followed by a gen Rolex. After owning both I realized that I wasn't happier having spent so much on a watch (I actually like the Tissot better than the Rolex), so I decided to find the watches that looked the best to me, and get reps instead of gen. After a few years of owning both gens and reps I'm starting to lean towards used gen instead of new rep, although I'm not fully sold either way yet!
