"Watch Porn" in Films / TV

Recommended Posts

Pesman

Do we have a thread for gratuitous "watch porn" in films / TV on here - if we do, please dust it off and move this there!

I only ask as I watched the fantastic B-Movie Turkey that is Moonfall last night with my 13 yr old son!

Whilst the movie was hardly Ingmar Bergman, it was a fun romp and the icing on the cake was one of the best Omega Speedmaster close-ups I've seen! I am wearing my gen today in honour of it!

There is detail here

https://www.watch-id.com/sightings/omega-speedmaster-professional-patrick-wilson-moonfall

and here it is in all its glory!

Feel free to post more (other than James Bond!) and confess when you've bought a rep or gen on the back of seeing it in a film!

OK.... I bought my gen PO after seeing it on JB's wrist in Casino Royale!

Grammar:

The difference between "helping your uncle jack off a horse", and "helping your uncle Jack off a horse".

Heehee, nice one Pes!

Hmm - very good - "have you eaten, Granny?" or "have you eaten Granny" - although I prefer yours....

Not quite right, you missed the important comma.

The difference between "helping your uncle jack off a horse", and "helping your uncle Jack, off a horse".

TV cooks are best to see what they are wearing.

James Martin has a wristful of different Rolexes

Hairy Bikers - both started out with Breitlings but Dave Myers now sports a Hulk

The Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive-Ins, And Dives has a different watch in every show - PAMs Omegas etc.....

ahem... the missus and I recently binge-watched Extraordinary Attorney Woo on Netflix and her boss can be seen wearing a blue dial Navitimer throughout the series.

Our guilty pleasure, Million Dollar Listing LA, shows on the wrists of the main salespeople/characters a variety of AP and Rolexes. One character in particular, Josh Flagg, has a penchant for vintage Rolex models.

Lastly, I watch Harry's Garage on Youtube and Harry has a varied collection including a Patek, a ghost GMT Master and a Panny 510. And to Perry's point, seeing the 510 on Harry inspired me to get another PAM 111, which is on my wrist as I type.

Had to buy the Hamilton Khaki ‘Murph’ from interstellar- binary code on the second hand!! Love the film, watch is great. In fact Hamilton is about the most prolific movie watch cameo sponsor of all - Tenet, Men in black and 2001 - 3 of the most famous with the below zero, Ventura and odyssey. Countless more.

I think the best to be said is the James bond series, especially with Daniel Craig. Its like a Omega advertisement.

"is that a rolex?" - Love interest

"No, Omega" - Bond
