donkacper 4,984 Posted January 3, 2023 Big Pilot 43 has been available for a while now. Even though IWC insists on calling it “big pilot” for me the real Big Pilot will always be 46mm. Peter4103 41 Posted January 17, 2023 I think a 43mm watch isn’t a big pilot. It just isn’t a big watch, but a normal size watch. They could Better have called it Pilot. ;-) As far as best manufacturer goes, it really depends on the functions, sometimes ZF is the best, but for more complex movements AZF is better with certain models. Teetertank 0 Posted October 16, 2024 Would still really like one of the 43mm simple pilot watches. The issue is the ones I like are from M+F factory and they're using Miyota 8205 which has a slow beat rate compared to the OG. MMF do a bronze model with 2824 movement which would run at the correct speed. But wish M+F would release a V2 with a Miyota 9015, as it's the same size and would make it a good rep.
