AlphaLima 17 Posted July 6, 2011 (edited) Is it just me, or does anyone else find these kinds of watches a little garish? I'd rather have a £10,000 PAM than pay £1m for this. Edited July 6, 2011 by AlphaLima
SeanusMaximus 0 Posted July 6, 2011 Just stupid money - would rather spend £35,000 (if i had it) on this TAG Heuer Mikrograph, only chrono that times 1/100th of a second!!
AlphaLima 17 Posted July 6, 2011 (edited) Wow.....i Tag that i like! it's taken long enough, but there it is. Is there a rep of that? Also, i understand and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into a HW watch, it just looks a tad vulgar to me. EDIT: Ah, it's a Heuer, not really a TAG. That's probably why i like it. Theres a standard seconds quartz rep on Timeshop (that TBH looks nothing like the gen ) but I doubt there will ever be a properrep - check the movement:
RS9 1 Posted July 6, 2011 Believe it or not, that's one of Harry Winston's more wearable watches. The ridiculous things some of the "boutique" manufacturers produce are simply part of an ongoing horological pissing contest. I believe watches are made to wear so make them as such..... kthnxbye. AGL 0 Posted July 6, 2011 I like it & would wear it. (both of those above.)
Ska 11 Posted July 6, 2011 If the Harry Winston and a pam were the only watches left on earth, the Pam was free and the HW was full price. I'd save up.
