I confess I am somewhat taken aback by the love I am feeling for the M2M Noob SSSD that arrived today...

And discovered that there is now a 2018 newer variant the 126660. Now 44mm not 43mm with a slightly different dial and wider bracelet and only £14k
 

 
Knowing nothing about Rolex reps can one you Rolex types advise on who is the VSF or GF of the Rolex world?

I think you'd be very happy with the ARF. The main differences between Rep models with the d-blue is the dial - how blue the blue is and how high/low on the dial does the blue begin to turn black. People obsess about where it should be, but Gens actually vary quite a lot too so it's typical nitpicker behaviour and frankly unnecessary.
