I know I will be ridiculed for asking but help.

Which TD would you recommend that does the best rep Audemars Piguet Royal Oak collection? A loved one has this as a bucket list and wanted to surprise him. How much does it usually cost to have this replicated? I have read the new members forum but its always better to ask for recommendation from the experts who experienced buying and collecting them.

I would recommend staying away from the more complicated watches for a first replica and stick to the 15202 (39mm) or 15400 (41mm) or 15500 (41mm)

Generally look for one made by XF (X factory) or ZF (Z factory) or APSF

It is the different factories that make them better or worse. All of the trusted dealers can get the same watches.
Think - factories are like car factories, and dealers are just car salesman- sort of.

Look up a dealer in the trusted dealer section and they will steer you in the right direction.
my advice is decide between 39mm size and 41mm size first

I have a 7” wrist and could wear either but prefer the smaller 39mm

If you prefer to find them something larger I would recommend the AP diver in stainless steel.

about $400-$550 I think

@APjumbo Again, thank you so much. I followed your recommendation. I am down to 2 options but to be honest, I dont know the difference except of the other one labeled as super clone. Both are from Z factory:

Royal Oak 41mm 15400 SS ZF 1:1 Best Edition Blue Textured Dial on SS Bracelet A3120

Royal Oak 41mm 15400 SS ZF 1:1 Best Edition Blue Textured Dial on SS Bracelet SA3120 Super Clone

https://jtime.io/us/royal-oak-41mm-15400-ss-zf-1-1-best-edition-blue-textured-dial-on-ss-bracelet-sa3120-super-clone.html

Are they the same or is the super clone better?

They both look the same, one is probably an older page

one comes with a free box or something.

The dealers are not good at updating the pages. Sometimes the models are out of stock or no longer made.

Jtime is a good dealer, I have used them before with good results.

You should just contact the dealer and tell them the model you want and that you want it from one of the three factories I mentioned.

They will tell you if it is still available and the price woth shipping (expect shipping to be $40)

Best to contact him through WhatsApp if you have it

I went with a TD from the listing and received a 15500 ST blue dial from APSF. The TS was able to reject two and picked the third to send me as the first two had issues (calendar not turning properly and the keyless works not working well).

This is currently the watch I would buy right away. both a 39 and 41. In black it seems to be the color closest to the gen, (AF and  APSF) but it's important to understand what you get is always a rep and as such you have to enjoy it and give yourself pleasure. Blue dial is fabulous for me, and a 15202 or 15500/15400 are great choices
