Yes it's gen, I picked it up used (about 8 months old or so.) Perfect storm, it was just posted on Crown and Caliber and then they ran a $500 off any watch sale the next day. I jumped on it since I'd had my eye on that watch for a while and figured I'd never see another one at that price. Casually watching prices off and on for the same model, so far I've been right.
