A 1675 Build

Hey Gentlemen,

I just wanted to Show yall a build I did using Milk Case set with the unshaped fat CGs.

Being in EU makes it harder to send the case to modders across the pond. So I had to as usual do all the work for myself.

I been runnin into health issues for a while now so the budget was semi tight and i wanted to do the work myself as usual. ( i build quite a few watches over the years & somewhat know what I'm doing)

A previous build where did it all:

(Athya crown and sh*t)

With this build I wanted to hit a black 1675 that doesn't look as polished down and as shiny as many on C24.

This was the build when I received it:

( the Gentlemen left alot of metal on the Cgs and overall did a solid build)

I knew I wanted to keep the dial as it has a nice patina (viet dial,HZ gmt movement) and I don't touch the dials myself often as they always seem to be perfect.)

So I got a build sent over and reworked the case and added a Oyster + Jubilee to it. I had to manually age them both and gave the jubilee the gen like stretch (will share pics)

I reshaped the entire case ( using diamond files from Amazon need to use a straight and a round one to get out the markings the straight one leaves,  and softend it up:

, refreshed the brushing on the lugs and polished the case to look used. Works perfect to hide the low grid sandpaper and files.

i blew out the dust on the dial multiple times

This was the first results:

I bought a 1675 insert of ebay for roughly 80$ and like 40$ shipping :D

(yeah but tbh it's better than those cheapo inserts and feels sturdy and looks gen like)

The only thing thats lacking now is new hands.

I have since added the rolex clasp to the Oyster bracelet.

Let me know what you think.

Total sum on this is now:

Watch:

650:

Straps :90

Insert :80

Amazon files: 40

Clamp: 40

900€

Before you ask I only take like 1-2 requests a year from friends to Build watches as it's always time intense. If you got questions feel free to ask.

Nice modding. How long does it take to reshape the case?
