Pesman's full collection Nov 23

Pesman

As an update to an earlier post, I have now sorted my collection post my big sell offs.

I have tried very hard to ensure I invested the majority of sale proceeds into the saving but old habits and addictions die hard so there may be some additions. I have also fallen for cheap and cheerful Chinese watches - which I am keeping separate.

So here we go, comments welcome.

Gens....

Much reduced but still a nice mix.

From top to bottom, left to right:

1) Planet Ocean gen 1 - the PO as the tool watch it was meant to be and as worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.

2) Breitling Transocean GMT Chrono LE - running a rock solid B04 movement. Just beautiful with the best croc strap I've ever seen. Crashed in value unfortunately

3) Bremont Alt1-ZT WOS LE - 1 of only 30 Bremonts with this dial design.

4) Boldr True GMT Diver - a bargain at £499 from Geckota. Running the new Minolta GMT movement that I am sure will soon be appearing in reps. Great build and lovely watch.

5) Mido Ocean Star true GMT - a great brand from the Swatch stable but hard to source in UK.

6) Mido Ocean Star Chronograph - picked upon eBay for only £900, running a 7753 movement as a bi-compax

7) Omega Speedmaster 9300 - had this for around 6 years now and with the PO is never going anywhere. Just a shame its lost is smaller cousin to the sell-off.

8) Sony Blue Hole Diver - a lovely LE with an uprated movement and a stunning dial. I also prefer aluminium bezels!

9) CW Compressor- a genuine Compressor watch witha great dial. CW at their most innovative.

10) Hemel Type XX - the brother of the one sold to Russ. ST-19 Movement and 41mm. Who needs an Air Command?

11) Certina Heritage Diver - lovely and nicest version with black dial and gold hands

12) Deep Blue Daynight Diver - the beast. The ultimate tool diver. Built to survive nuclear war with tritium t100 tubes. It glows!

It's a solid set and won't grow anymore. A mix of big, small, expensive and value...

The Reps:

These were seriously culled and reduced but the survivors are a solid mix...

Again T to B L to R

1) GF Breitling Avenger Blue

2) IWC BLUE Maces

3) IWC Top Gun Ceramic with new hand set and gen 7750 ( thank you Simon)

4) PP Nautilus Green - a free anonymous 'cheer up' Donation

5) Omega AT Green

6) Clean Rolex GMT Master II - Recent weakening following my new found liking of Rolex

7) Rolex Polar Dial Explorer II - CHS simply gorgeous and my favourite Rolex by some distance

8) Rolex Submariner - recent M2M a low serial high quality version....so I am told

9) Rolex Yachtmaster - £80 and brilliant

10) Rolex Daytona- 115600? Needs a bracelet I suspect but no idea of factory. Believe its a 7750 version so I trat with caution. Not worn often as I find it's too busy for its size. But as a completist I had to have one..

11 & 12) Omega Seamaster 007 LE - No date and bought as a pair. Survived sell-off but much nicer without dates.

13) OHMSS Omega Seamaster 007

14) Omega Speedmaster Snoopy

15) Omega PO 2nd Generation 45.3mm

16) Omega PO Good Planet GMT- 43mm and gorgeous

Inbound - yes I am still weak but only two..

Breitling Superocean LE orange

2) Octopus Kraken NTTD - better than the original!

Thanks for getting this far. I think it's now a nicely balanced collection that pretty much covers my tastes...and China will now feed the hunger!
