Hi all,

I have a Breitling given to me by my father. It is a replica from the 1990s he got from abroad. It is an automatic movement and when I move the watch it runs for a few seconds and stops, can someone tell me if its an easy fix or just bin it?

Wind it up - automatic watches still need to be wound and the automatic bit is that a rotor tops it up.

Screw the crown backwards a few turns - it may pop out - then wind it the other way for 20-25 turns - then push the crown in and turn again whilst holding it in (assuming it's a screw down crown)

The crown doesn't screw in, it just pops in and out, does that make a difference?
