aldomiranda 0 Posted March 18 Hi guys. I am planning on buying ORMF Factory SpeedMaster Moonwatch with above movement. MOVEMENT: Lemania Handwind Movement with Functional Chronograph and Engraved with 3861 Markings. From what I have read, the movement is very solid and much more reliable than Asia 7750 Valjoux Automatic Movement, 28800bph. Any opinions in this matter with the Lemania? Any experience with the lemania? Share this post Link to post
processengr 13,377 Posted March 18 This is more commonly referred to as "Seagull ST-19" See this link: https://horology-student.org/movements/other-modern-movements/seagull-st19/ 2 Share this post Link to post

Ant0702 467 Posted March 19 Yep - ST-19. It’s essentially a Lemania copy. It is very reliable. Used by Seagull; Sugess; Alpha; and most hand wind Chinese chronograph watches. It is a great looking thing too. 3 Share this post Link to post
Redfire1066 10,946 Posted March 19 @aldomiranda . . .. . I have more than a handful of watches that I wear on a regular basis that have an ST-19 movement , ,, never had any issues ..... but the same applies to any Asia 7750 movements I have had in other watches too ... I do find the hand winding of the ST-19 more involving and it feels enjoyable . .. . 1 Share this post Link to post
