greg_r 82 Posted September 28, 2009 I believe Tat has been playing with stealth lume too - will be interesting to see whether he gets it to work
houndoggie 58 Posted September 28, 2009 Lume shot thread????? I'd say that this is my best "glower": But I have a LumTec coming my way soon, so that might be the new champion.
greg_r 82 Posted September 28, 2009 While we were away I really came to appreciate the lume on my Fiddy - it's not the brightest around, but for rep lume it's pretty damned good, lasting most of the night. Very handy given that we didn't have a bedside clock
houndoggie 58 Posted September 28, 2009 Speaking of stealthy lume, check out this cheapy AP ROO quartz from Robert I got: (I was completely shocked when I brought it into the dark room after sunlight) Before: After: Now, it isn't particulary long lasting or bright, but still amazing, nonetheless, on a $70 rep!! That's damned good - my 233 is like that. Very bright for a while. My ROO, however, has no lume at all worth mentioning
KBH 7 Posted September 28, 2009 For you Lume-atics - I just put this one together. Reverse Cali Dial from Lum-Tec. She's a GLOWER Getat case and hands with Swiss Eta movement.
houndoggie 58 Posted September 28, 2009 For you Lume-atics - I just put this one together. No lume shot yet. Reverse Cali Dial from Lum-Tec. She's a GLOWER Getat case and hands with Swiss Eta movement. Awesome!!! 45mm case?? This one would look cool with some california style skeleton hands. Nice job with the build. JohnG 41 Posted October 5, 2009 This one would look cool with some california style skeleton hands. Nice job with the build. NO LUME in hands - why do you need it? I would take the lume out - is that what you mean by skeleton hands, or is that what they call the Cali style hands?
landwomble 0 Posted October 5, 2009 that's awesome. how much are the dials and do they fit jackson/getatwatch cases?
AllergyDoc 40 Posted October 5, 2009 (edited) You could guide a group of climbers up Half Dome at night with that watch! Edited October 5, 2009 by AllergyDoc
KBH 7 Posted October 5, 2009 that's awesome. how much are the dials and do they fit jackson/getatwatch cases? $68 and yes, that is a Getat case. Perfect fit except the dial feet had to go. . My wife won't let me wear it to bed. After one time she said it kept her awake.
