Only one watch

If you could only have one watch to wear for all situations, (Work. Leisure, Events) what would it be?

Interested in your thoughts.

Something like a Rolex Explorer or Oyster Perpetual, I'd say. Or an Omega Aquaterra.

It's psorty but with the right strap you can dress it up (or down with a Nato), it's well resistent to water and it's a classic.

I think budget wise, something your average wage earner can justify buying and value for money.

Genuine or replica? I think a replica is fine as long as it has reliable movement.

I agree  "GenTLePowermax". Rolex Explorer or Oyster Perpetual is a good choice.choice.

While my speaking level of English is OK, writing and spelling I find harder. When writing in English I sometimes use a spell and grammar check, I just copied and pasted from spell check it was quicker for me. I did not now this was a problem.

However, a Spell and Grammar check can't tag people for you. You need to do that manually by typing @ before their username @yesitsme and then you don't copy and paste things like "Powermax" that are awarded by the software for 2000+ posts and aren't part of a username.

Probably a blue dial Omega Seamaster 300 on the blue rubber strap - perhaps falls a little short on dressier occasions, but for everything else....

Is this a trick question? Impossible to decide, glad I don’t have to, if I have to pick 3 it would be a Submariner of some kind, a breitling chrono and an omega of some kind.

If I had to choose one, it would be a black dial without a date complication….I’m thinking either a Speedmaster Professional or a Rolex no-date Sub…as I’m a vintage guy, I’ll go with a well loved 5512 which can be worn on a bracelet, leather strap or one of a million colorful and striped NATO straps.

Out of my collection of watches, if I  had to go to just one watch, it would be a difficult choice between these two;

20201127-134023.jpg

I absolutely  love my Omega Regatta, but I  only tend to wear it on special occasions.

I've always loved the black  /  yellow  colour scheme on a watch face, and Omega have done a fantastic job in this case.

My G-Shock on the other hand is my go to watch.

It does everything well, and I find it super legible.

Solar powered, radio signal atomic timing, it's all the watch you ever need.

So yeah, it would be a tough decision for me.

Love that Omega, is that a genuine watch?

Yes, bought on this website a while back.

I'll update this comment with a link when I find it.

and here's the original sales post from November 2020, can't believe it's 3 ½ years since I bought it.
