AlanDavison 2 Posted May 4 I bought a GO SEA Q from a TD. looks great and keeps good time…I haven’t really checked but I’m satisfied i notice if I shake the watch and put it on my dresser at night and go to sleep, it usually stops about 5 am…..so it’s running 6-7 hours is this to be expected from a rep? Should I notify dealer or just live with it? I’ve bought a few watches from this TD and trust that he will do the right thing but I don’t know what the right thing is is this the usual with reps or should it be running longer? thx for any info
Clinical Trial 13 Posted May 6 Yes, it should maintain charge overnight if you have worn it for most of the day before.
BadPickle 2,802 Posted May 6 No it may not keep charge overnight if you have worn it for most of the day before, especially if you’re just a “shake and wear” type. Give the mainspring a good charge by gently winding using the crown in the winding position, often 20 winds will suffice. let us know how you get on
AlanDavison 2 Posted May 7 I gave it 30-40 winds and it’s working great..36 hour + pr thx for info
