I started at this hobby in about 2010 with the hopes of getting a decent Breitling rep. I did, and then another,  then I found this place, the after years of posting, trading, lurking, posting some more and lurking some more, I’m up at about 77 pieces. 
 

There’s a bunch that should leave, but what’s the fun in that?

Same here. I dont like having more than 3 reps at a time. It's also easier to get over rep watches as opposed to gen ones.

It's all in the dial... The watches that I end up keeping always have the best dials.

My wife complained about my watches once.....and only once. I pointed out that I don't go to bars. I don't smoke, very rarely drink, don't hang out with friends constantly, don't do drugs, and only have a few hobbies.  I build model kits, I collect watches, diecast race cars and Transformers.   She hasn't bugged me about it since.

I started out getting reps for my gens.  Now it’s gone the other way and I’m getting about 2-3 reps a month. I’m finding the various factories, movements, etc to be actually more interesting than the gen marketplace!  I live in the UK and I can’t say I’ve ever had anyone eye me up to take a watch, but I am not in a big city or anything!
