Ploprof V2 with V1 Clasp??

Hey gang,

 

I just received the V2 Ploprof Asain Clone version from Mary. Was the most I ever spent on a rep - $315.

 

It is a stunning piece to say the least - what wrist presence.

 

I do however have a gripe with the quality of the clasp. It slips out of place almost immediately when I put it on.

 

Now I had discovered from research that the claps has always had a problem with slipping on this rep, and I have read through some of the tutorials on how to mod it so that it will hold better. But in my research I stumbled upon a thread at RWI where user ThinkBachs did a side by side comparison review of the V1 vs the V2. LINK HERE.

 

He also showed the difference betwen the V1 and V2 clasps. The difference being the V2 had the word PUSH engraved on it and the V2 also has an extension piece. He also notes that the V2 clasp tends to slip less. Here is a pic from that thread:

 

Anyways looking at my V2 Ploprof, i can't help but notice that I clearly have the V1 clasp. See pic below. I have already contacted Mary about this and am waiting to hear back from her.

 

Just curious to see if anyone else who ordered a "V2" ended up with a V1 clasp?
