Del 4,469 Posted August 3, 2011 Well, this is likely to split opinions - I just got myself a two-tone, black-face, A7750 Navitimer! Bling-tastic! I bought it from a guy on RWI (shame on me ) but it's ok cause I got a stonking deal - $200 plus shipping and it's brand new! It originally came from Andrew at TrustyTime but he then did a "catch and release" as he wanted to buy something else. He paid $288 plus shipping and wanted $275 but it sat for a while and when the price eventually dropped to $200 I couldn't help myself - a total bargain imho. So far (it only arrived today) it seems that everything is as it should be movement-wise. The watch is certainly brand new, unless the guy wore it un-sized underneath a microfibre, long-sleeve shirt because there ain't any marks on it. The bracelet is a pig to size (you take out two tiny screws, pull out one side of the link with two fixed bars and then the rest of the bracelet falls apart into a million pieces ) but it is a gorgeous bracelet - the polished steel and gold is beautifully finished, and the clasp is smooth and precise to operate. As for the dial, you'd need a magnifying glass to read all the tiny print - it is very detailed and looks great quality. The lume on the hands is excellent but not so bright on the baton hour markers. All in all, I'm chuffed to bits with this! The TT gold matches your freckles nicely. :P I thought I'd give this a go as well after seeing that thread on RWI, but he wouldn't go outside of EU. :Yawn: Instead I went with the much cheaper and smaller 40mm quartz version from Robert's auction site. Not sure what else I'll target tbh. Yes onionbag, very shiney - the shiniest, blingiest rep I have! I did the guy a favour, nobody else was buying it! Cheers robznet! Pihlippe - I think it's about 42mm but should wear bigger by blinding people! I knew you'd hate it seanus! :P @ GBOGH. I guess it does match my Scottish complexion!
