Luthier 1 Posted August 11, 2011 I bought this cheapie just to see, how the size of this watch will fit my wrist. Just in case, I asked to add 2 extra links, because, practically, all the bracelets are too tight for me. Well... they gave me extra bracelet for free. Surprisingly, the watch fit my wrist perfectly, even a lil bit loose, maybe, I'll remove one link. I didn't expect anything "super" for $68, but, actually, it's very good watch for the money. Nice 2813 movement, goldplated, with beautifully engraved rotor, very quiet, looks nice, and the case/bracelet also very well made. Seconds hand is quite smooth, date change with light click, nice etching on the clasp, so, for this price it's very nice buy. The size of the watch doesn't look too small, so, next buy will be upgraded version with clone or Sellita. Oh, forgot... the packing was very good. Enjoy the pictures!!! gB. 0 Posted August 11, 2011 Were you able to pay with Paypal? I chatted with them online more than a week ago to buy this model. They stated they take Paypal, so went to order and then they say their Paypal account is full or overused and will be 4-5 days before it's available again, then ask for WU/MG payment and will ship right away. I declined and asked that they e-mail me in 4-5 days with the order once their PP account is available again. More than a week and no contact. PP bait and switch...? Member X 91 Posted August 11, 2011 That is seriously nice for $68 I might have to get one as I've wondered how they would fit my wrist... Just for us lazy folks, any chance of a linky? :P
gB. 0 Posted August 11, 2011 I'll ask them tonight, mate.I have no problem to pay WU. I have no problem paying by WU or MG either, but for a $68 the fees and hassle don't make it worth it. If I do it online I would get hit with the transfer fee, then my CC will charge additional fees, so a $68 watch quickly becomes a $100+ watch.
