Otek 0 Posted August 12, 2011 (edited) Just got this in today,been wanting it since it was released, Porsche Design worked along with Eterna for this watch which is based on the Eterna Kontiki diver. we all know this rep have its obvious flaws such as the incorrect caseback engraving..the infamous "SWISS MAOE" and incorrect date wheel, also from my observation the square dial markers is a little wrong as well where the gens have a silver/metal lining around it, with all these flaws it is still a well made replica, well done on the case construction as well as the finish and nice smooth sweeping hands, my only complaint is the clasps which is a little sharp when worn and it is a little bit wobbly, I am in the works to get another clasps from my dealer at the moment, might only be on mine. Lume is on the weaker side and my dial is a little bit not centered, will get it fixed if I am to relume it. as of now I can live with its flaws. ...all in all, it is a nice well made watch and a little bit different that I can use as my daily beater, hope you guys enjoy my so-so pics. wristie from earlier today Thanks for viewing! We need to buy some different dial, from other watch, what has got removable similar hour indexes (cost usually 20-30USD incl. shipping) then just remove the indexes from it, relume them and glue them on the dial of Porsche Diver ! For the triangle at 12o'clock the closest I have found are these SO we have ready modding material, now just need to buy that watch OTEK Can you make video how is the watch holding, when it is lifted ? It is possible ! what I just need now, is to earn money for that watch and lets start modding ! It would be also A LOT easier, when you have to relume just indexes.
