gtwc 1 Posted August 18, 2011 I have an A6497 in one of my Pam reps (not the newer platinum plated one) that works fine when the watch is lying flat on a table, face up or face down. When I strap the little sucker to my wrist, the little sucker stops. Almost every time. Nearly as regular as clockwork. It can be re-started by tapping either end near the lugs. H'ever, unless you are constantly checking the time every second available, you are going to miss a tap or 2 and it stops. Take it off, swap watches, and watch it work perfectly as a desk ornament or paperweight. Any suggestions / ideas? I am not technically minded but I do have a set of Pam caseback openers if the fix is EXTREMELY SIMPLE !!! Look forward to a helpful reply................................... pollux1 3 Posted August 21, 2011 Hopefully one of the modders can help mate, I had a similar problem and it was nothing more than dust in the movement, a quick blow out and it was fine. I would still suggest you get someone to look at it for you if you aren't proficient at fixing them.
