ImWatchingYOU 0 Posted August 19, 2011 One of my friends is looking to buy a gen watch, and as I have so many of them (yeah right), he asked for advise. The watch he found is listed @ buy.com and the seller is Ashford. The price is 50% off retail. What do you guys think? By surfing the web and reading reviews, it looks like ashford is legimate. greg_r 83 Posted August 19, 2011 I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that.... As for the OP's question: sorry, but I have no clue...
ImWatchingYOU 0 Posted August 19, 2011 (edited) This is the watch http://www.buy.com/prod/raymond-weil-men-s.../213434040.html it can also be bought off amazon for 100bucks more. Any suggestions? Amazon should be safe enough, what you think? Edited August 19, 2011 by ImWatchingYOU
greg_r 83 Posted August 19, 2011 Seller looks basically legit. They're obviously selling grey market goods, but given the discounts that wouldn't worry me personally. (grey market goods will not be warrantied by the manufacturer - the watch would have to go back to the seller for repair under warranty). This appears to be the sellers own website: http://www.ashford.com/ What would concern me is that if you google their website and start looking for reviews, you'll find quite a lot of folks less than impressed with their customer service. However, it seems that if you pay your money you will indeed get your watch.
