Breitling Navitimer Modded to MAX !

Recommended Posts

KeNnY

Hey all,

so here we are again, in our modding topic, where now we took apart my Breitling Navitimer. This cheapy looks and feels really nice, even that it is quartz I am really happy with it, and it get most attention than all my other watches, what I don't understand :D Maybe because it is more bling bling, not like my all other watches that are mostly divers

Here are pictures BEFORE

Here are pictures of the GEN

So what we want to do ? First I had to clean the dial and the crystal from inside. There was some oil or fingerprints or I don't know what maybe from some factory worker that sneezed  After that I want to relume it, I am lume whore, and I love that all my pictures glow like Torch :) And the last thing, was to remove the black color from the engraving on the caseback. The gen has got no color on it, or only color on the "Chornographe certifie ... 3 BAR".

LET'S START !

And here are pictures of actual MODDING

As you can see, so far everything is easy :) I have used the GExtreme W@atchlume stuff again, it is amazing lume powder for the buck ! For the indexes I used matte binder and for the hands I have used clear binder.

Now it finally glows how it should be !!! :)

Nice, easy, and fast ! :) Again this mod was done in 3 hours :) What we just need is caseback. I have left in in acetone for 2 hours, but the black paint was still there, and was hard to get it off with tampon. But then I had great idea to try the toothbrush and it worked perfectly and in 1 minute all black paint was off.

I have also removed the light scratches with Cape COD and reassembled including greased O rings :) And basically we are done here ! :)

Lets see the results !

Another amazing job... the blue dial alone, out of the case looks so good, really nice blue shade

Lume looks great, so bright, really nice work.

P.s.: Kenny, if you ever decide to buy an Omega Seamaster Professional 300m and then relume it and then sell it, I am the adress for you

Thank you Crusader ! :) Glad you like it ! Yes the dial is sunburst amazing ! Even if they would be able to make it on green subs it would be great ! :) Love the dial, and when I have cleaned it with alcohol, it was after that much more lighter and visible and more nicer ! :)

I don't like much that watch, but when you will buy it I am available for modding :)
