My rep is loosing 2 sec a day

My only good rep, Rolex GMT2, bought from Siam in Bangkok, is loosing about 2 secs a day. I am pleased with that, but what do you think?

Is it bad, good or excellent for a copy eta? Or should I try to reduce these 2 seconds by adjusting the +/- screw in the movement??

Are you sure you are losing 2 seconds a day? How do you know that the watch you are using as a comparison is not gaining 2 seconds a day????

I am not using another watch for comparison. I use an internet time site which is synchronized with an atomic clock. I know that internetconnections can loose some time. So I used a 2 week period and checked daily how much time I was loosing on my watch compared to the atomic clock time. So I'm quite sure that there is a loss of average 2 seconds a day. After 2 week I had a loss on the watch of about 30 seconds.

Don't you recognize a joke when you see one, or is my joke that bad?

There are some good Canadian comics, but they are not from Montreal.

I will not touch anything in the movement of this watch. I will check reguarly if this -2 will be consistant and I'll inform you next month how good it is running.

I'm happy with this watch.

On july 14, I synchronized time on my GMT for the last time. Today, 4 weeks later, I lost totally 18 secs in these 4 weeks. Quite good for a copy ETA!!!!

Well, from what I can tell, my sterile dial BP is loosing c. 10 minutes in 12 hours... LOL

I assume it could be magnetised and therefore needs to be de-magnetised?

I'm not sure there's enough notches on the adjuster to correct 20 minutes slow a day...

Update

Hi guys

I'm wearing this Rolex, which I bought in Bangkok last year, daily.

It still runs execellent. Time has only to be adjusted once a month while it runs slow for about 60 seconds a month.

Inside is a copy ETA movement.

The steel hardly shows scratches and the sapphire crystal looks new.

I waterproofed the rubber parts with silicone gel and did not have any problems with moisture, not even when leaving it on my wrist under the shower or when cleaning my fishtank.

So, I'm still happy with my purchase and the generous help of Robert.

Johnny
