Advice from US Members on shipping

Recommended Posts

Corv99

Hi to our US brothers

Can I pick your brains?

I have 'come by' a watch currently situated in the states, and the sender has not shipped over th England or indeed out of the US before..... is there anything we need to be aware of to make sure it arrives?

such as ways of labelling it up etc

PM if appropriate

thanks in advance :)

When I have had stuff from the US it tends to be sent by USPS standard airmail (sometimes with insurance - unless that is USPS priority??) either way - it flys lower on the radar into the UK than say Fed-ex, UPS or DHL, takes around a week, and to/from the US I always mark/ask for it to be marked as personal gift or something similar - hasn't failed me yet  Just ask that the little customs form is properly filled in!
