KBH 7 Posted November 29, 2008 Here's another old post. Hope you enjoy. Boredom setting in so I thought I'd share a few pictures on some new straps and one old one. I know that old Datejusts aren't really hot on the forums, but this is still one of my favorite models. Back in the 80's all the hot shits had to have the TT Datejust. The drug dealers favorite piece of jewelry! Since I can't find a particularly good bracelet other than gen I picked up a gen leather from that era with a gen gold buckle. I think this leather would also go well on a vintage Daytona. This is also a gen dial from that era. I wish I could find a vintage TT case and crystal. (Edit: I did get that TT case and made a nice Franken, in fact, several of them.) I also picked up a new strap for my Orange Pumpkin. Carbon Fiber with orange stitching. This one's getting a lot of wrist time lately. The wife says it's her favorite. And last but no least is the Chopard with the racing strap. This is IMHO, a vast improvement over the rubber that it came with. This strap actually has me wearing the watch in the first team rotation. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.
