trailboss99 994 Posted September 11, 2011 A smooth ballpoint would be the fisher space pen (any model). In fact, just go for the ink cartridge :P The Fischer refill with the Parker adapter fits Gman's pens, I use one.
SeanusMaximus 0 Posted September 11, 2011 here you are G, the whole lot were a mess when we got them, a horrible dark brown stain with a horrid lacquer, so back down to base, dutch oil, and many many many man hours, had to recarve the splats in the chair uprights a little to, new casters on chairs, and all new webbing, filling and upholstery on the chairs :Talking Ear Off:
graman 2 Posted September 11, 2011 What a lovely job!...you must be proud of it! That's a very patient, labour of love.... awesome finish too! Did you have to re-glue any of the joints and mortices?

Did you have to re-glue any of the joints and mortices? haha yeah G, the chair top frames were rhombus shaped tbh :Talking Ear Off: carefully dismantled, cleaned and rejoined! well worth the labour, though dad complains if an ounce of dust gets near the mirror finish surface
opus9 0 Posted September 11, 2011 I have a G'master pen,A Cartier fountain,a Dunhill ball point,A Mont Blanc ball point,A Parker roller-ball,A Cross ball point, an Osmeroid and a Sheaffer fountains.I love pens as much as I do my watches. I have to say the pleasure of owning a Gmaster pen is in a class of it's own.Firstly its UNIQUE..one off..that's for a start, then there is the craftsmanship.. unparalleled, then there is the writing feel..comfortable,fits well into the hand, smooth to touch and excellent to write with. Then comes the after service, unfortunately due to circumstances of travel and heat, the top layer of lacquer started to lift (I didn't even notice,G'man spotted the tiny blemish in a thread I posted, re the watch box and pen I had purchased off him. With no hesitation,g'man recalled the pen with firm orders!!...Now that's service . I can put hand on heart and say that his hand made pen is the most valuable (to me and my missus) in my collection. If your going to buy a pen..look no further. Turbo 0 Posted September 12, 2011 Hmmm....he makes watch boxes too? Would love to see some photos of his work on that front.! Also thinking about ordering a pen. Are there many different "shapes" or "styles" available ?
exec123 0 Posted September 12, 2011 Oh. besides gramans pens what other pens do you guys recommend? I like things on the bigger side..so i get a good grip. but mostly im concerned about the ink being good
Luthier 1 Posted September 12, 2011 So, you care the pen or the ink? I'm sure, Graman don't make the ink. And I won't recommend anything else, cuz nothing matches his pens. Period. Everything else is just overpriced mass production, that you can buy in any shop. Graman makes a masterpieces, unique, boutique, one of the kind. And... we, luthiers, always share technology, tricks and tips, but we'd kill for question "Who is your wood dealer?" Viva Graman!!!
offshore 0 Posted September 12, 2011 It is a bit silly, but I must admit...timber is so much more challenging and rewarding :P Gman! "If God had wanted fibreglass pens, he would have invented fibreglass trees!" Same thing in boats! Offshore
Luthier 1 Posted September 12, 2011 :P @OS. True. Japanese tried to make guitars from plastic... Beautiful guitars, must admit, but... sounds like a shit. Nothing can replace the wood.

richardm1142 0 Posted September 13, 2011 (edited) I have been using Uniball Vision Elites for years and they are beautiful to write with. Not a pretty, pretty trophy pen, but I don't have a seizure when I lose one. Uniball Vision Elite And some of the inks are very nice.
