dave47 6,545 Posted September 16, 2011 Hi, Gang! Just arrived this A.M., Franck Muller Crazy Hours, Colors Dreams from Lay @ Replicamade. It's an auto, with the famous Muller "ticking hands" on it (takes some getting used to), case measures 35mm x 40mm, weighs in at around 87g, leather strap. I picked maroon because I like color & like to be different at times -- not the usual black/brown straps on black/white dial faces, run-of-the-mill stuff. Watch is slender yet fills up the 7.5 wrist very well. Had my usual good relations with Lay, who provided his usual quality pics, tracking numbers, and good communications; just sorry he's suspended here. I truly hope things return to normal with him; always had good experiences with him. Enough gabbing; here's "several pics" for your enjoyment. dave:
gtwc 1 Posted September 16, 2011 I have the PVD version and 'me likee'. 'specially the look on peoples faces when the hour hand advances by 4 hours to show the correct time. Good choice and nice pics.

dave47 6,545 Posted September 17, 2011 Thanks, gents, for the feedback (uh, assuming you're all guys.) It IS different & is fun to watch the hour hand flit around the dial to the next squential number. Took me a while to figure out how to SET it; YouTube was very helpful. I like the different color. Of course, Ill wear it in a MANLY fashion... . heh! dave.

Caliper 0 Posted September 18, 2011 (edited) That's different.... Forgive my ignorance, I don't know much about Franck Muller, what is their famous ticking hands? Edited September 18, 2011 by Caliper
dave47 6,545 Posted September 18, 2011 I didn't know, either. It means the hour hand does not move to the next number in a normal manner; instead, it "jumps" quickly to the next sequential number which is four positions or so way. It's a real hoot to watch. Check out this YouTube video: (Hope this works; still a computer Neanderthal man.) http://youtu.be/zbouHnZ6VjQ That's different....
